New members are always welcome at Cheadle & District ASC

Prospective new swimmers looking to join the club can come along for up to 3 free trial sessions with choices of Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays before making a formal commitment to join. 

Please contact us regarding the trail and following the session a club coach will place the swimmer in the relevant group according to their current ability whilst also giving further advice on the progressive group structures and future session plans to enable the swimmer to progress.

The main aim of Cheadle & District ASC is to produce competitive swimmers of a high standard to represent the Club. To achieve these aims, we ask for commitment from both swimmers and parents. Our swimmers compete at local, county, district and national levels.

There is an annual membership fee, which contributes towards the ASA registration fee for a full year, insurance and other items such as affiliation costs.

Dual (Cheadle 2nd Club): £10

Parents/spectators*: £14

Masters Swimmers (18 & over): £20

Membership fees are payable upon joining, and every January thereafter. The annual membership fees include registration fees with the ASA, as well as Regional and County ASAs.

*For insurance purposes we advise all parents/spectators at Denstone to become club members, failing to do so will mean you are not covered in the event of an injury or accident

1 session per week: £27 per month

2 sessions per week: £43 per month

3 sessions per week: £55 per month

4+ sessions per week: £65 per month

All subscriptions include the 2 land training session’s.

We also offer a 5% discount against any further siblings that swim for the club.

• Standing Orders should be set up to be paid in full as close to the beginning of the month as possible - the payment relates to the month in which it is paid and cannot be carried forward or backwards to any other month. The payment covers from the 1st of the month to the last day of the month regardless of the date the payment is made.
• The session week runs from Monday through to Sunday. If you are paying £43 per month, for example, this entitles you to swim two sessions per week from Monday to Sunday. If you are unable to swim your sessions in any given week, the missed session(s) cannot be carried forward to any other week
• The fees cannot be split between two or more swimmers - eg siblings. Each monthly fee is unique and relevant to one swimmer only.
• Absences have been taken into account as part of the session fee structure, and Standing Orders should not be cancelled or reduced (in particular over holiday periods) without prior agreement with the club committee.
