Club Membership & Fees

Club Membership

New members are always welcome at Cheadle & District ASC

We have a progressive structure of groups in which swimmers are placed according to their ability.

Coaches assess each swimmer individually when they join to get an overall idea of their ability and then place them in the correct group. The coach will advise on the number sessions swimmers need to attend in order for them to progress.

We allow prospective new swimmers to come along for a trial session before making a formal commitment to join.

The main aim of Cheadle & District ASC is to produce competitive swimmers of a high standard to represent the Club. To achieve these aims, we ask for commitment from both swimmers and parents. Our swimmers compete at local, county, district and national levels.

So if you’ve been thinking about coming along to see us don’t put it off any longer!

Fees for the 10 weeks are £42 payable in advance.

Competitive Swimming Session Fees

There are two ways in which you can pay for competitive training sessions, Pay as You Go (per session payable poolside) or by monthly Standing Order.

Pay As You Go

£7 a session (Pay at Poolside)

Standing Order

1 session per week: £20 per month

2 sessions per week: £30 per month

3 sessions per week: £40 per month

4+ sessions per week: £50 per month

Session Fee Guidance for Monthly payments

  • Standing Orders should be set up to be paid in full as close to the beginning of the month as possible - the payment relates to the month in which it is paid and cannot be carried forward or backwards to any other month. The payment covers from the 1st of the month to the last day of the month regardless of the date the payment is made.
  • The session week runs from Monday through to Sunday. If you are paying £30 per month, for example, this entitles you to swim two sessions per week from Monday to Sunday. If you are unable to swim your sessions in any given week, the missed session(s) cannot be carried forward to any other week
  • The fees cannot be split between two or more swimmers - eg siblings. Each monthly fee is unique and relevant to one swimmer only.
  • Absences have been taken into account as part of the session fee structure, and Standing Orders should not be cancelled or reduced (in particular over holiday periods) without prior agreement with the club committee.
